ELRC showcased at CEF Building Blocks event in Brussels

The ELRC project was showcased at the event "Connecting Europe with Building Blocks: Making the Digital Single Market a Reality," held at Concert Noble in Brussels, Belgium, on December 7.

The main objective of the high-level event was to present concrete examples of how the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) building blocks successfully contribute to creating a Digital Single Market. The ELRC consortium was therefore given an exclusive forum to share their work on identifying and gathering language resources for CEF eTranslation -- one of the crucial CEF building blocks -- as part of the ELRC action. ELRC was represented by Lilli Smal of DFKI and Rihards Kalniņš of Tilde.

Guests at the event included distinguished panelists from the public and private sectors (such as banking and telecom), as well as top officials at the European Commission and members of Parliament. The event was officially unveiled by Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society.
