European Language Resource Coordination (ELRC) Final Report 2015-2017

The European Commission initiated ELRC to overcome one of the main challenges in creating a true Digital Single Market in Europe – the language barrier that public services, ministries and citizens face every day. The ELRC has set up a permanent European Language Resource Coordination mechanism and has been collecting language resources from and for public service administrations in all 28 EU Member States, Norway and Iceland. The Final Report presents the results of the work carried out between April 2015 and April 2017.
